The Nahunta Park Project is a community based initiative lead by private citizens utilizing funds and material generated from donations, fund raisers, and the assistance of the Brantley County Parks & Recreation Department, Brantley County Board of Commissioners, and the City of Nahunta.
Nahunta Park is a 1 acre lot located behind the Brantley County Senior Citizen building in Nahunta, Georgia. Currently the only ammenities available at the park is a paved basketball court.
A citizens group lead by Latraille "LuLu" Williams has come together to raise funds in order to make multiple upgrades at the park. Your donation of money or time can help make a difference.

Progress is already being made in the project: Brantley Parks & Rec will be locating a portable restroom at the park and also has plans to relocate various playground items from the old rec department. The City of Nahunta will also be assisting the Parks & Rec Department in maintaining the grass at the park.

Funds raised will be used to help refurbish the relocated items and also to upgrade the park with new items such as benches, trees, and other amenities.
